The National Violence Against Women survey found that 21.5 percent of men and 35.4 percent of women living with a same-sex partner experienced intimate-partner physical violence in their lifetimes, compared with 7.1% and 20.4% for men and women, respectively, with a history of only opposite-sex cohabitation.
Please note this is not hard science just a survey..oh they do love a survey..anyway the highest rates for domestic violence are women on women..what a surprise.. The rates for male on female and male on male are about the same..no substantial increase for same sex partners and well within any statistical error..on part of the survey..
Conclusion women are more violent towards their partners then men.
