Here is part one of a great documentary that deconstructs many myths perpetuated by gender theorists and social scientists who eschew biology as a means of explanation of social and individual behaviour outright. Essential viewing for lurkers and entertaining for the seasoned MGHOW.

Summary:
- Asking the question: What does gender equality mean?
- 'Norway was chosen as the country with the most gender equality in 2008'
- So why does freedom to choose a profession not mean equal distribution of genders in all fields?
- Even active measures to recruit men and women into non-traditional professions have failed
- Thus, it is not discrimination causing this
- Women do better in every subject besides physical education, simply choose not to enter technical fields
- Study found that girls in 'less equal' countries were more interested in technical subjects
- And that the more modern a country, the less interested girls are in technical subjects
- Society and cultural influence often offered as explanations for this
- Another explanation is genetics
- Or that men and women are born with different interests
- Norwegian gender researchers reject these notions of innate difference (I'm shocked)
- Explanation offered is childhood indoctrination of gender stereotypes
- Survey covering 200k participants across 53 countries found that men and women maintained same differences
- Thus, culture and society as a determinant of interests (indoctrination thesis) can be said to be false
- Explanation has to be biological
- Test designed to detect gender differences in infants established clear gender differences at 9 months
- Society can only influence gender disposition each way, not negate it
- Further study found that babies only 1 day old exhibit gender difference (the answer is testosterone)
- Research indicates that there are evolutionary reasons for inherent gender preferences (evo-psych)
- The more freedom you give to people = the higher the likelihood of expression of genetic predisposition
- The paradox thus being: 'In a free and equal society, men and women will become unequal.'
- Gender theorists reactions to this include:
- 'I have what you would call a theoretical basis. There's no room for biology in there for me.'
- 'My hypothesis is that there are none (biological differences). Science hasn't shown any.'
- Scientists counter with:
- 'It's a very moderate proposal to say it's a mixture of biology and culture. I'm not saying it's all biology. I'm simply saying don't forget about biology.'
CLIFFS of Summary:
- Norwegian comedian trolls gender theorists
- In the process he indirectly helps in getting their government funding pulled, forcing them to flee to Sweden*
