Description: Stardusk explains how Briffault’s Law is impacted by economic concepts such as (perceived) market value as well as supply and demand. Due to the social factors, perception, and the fact that women can only bear one child at a time (lower supply), there is a notion that a woman's uterus has higher value than a man’s sperm (ie: "A uterus may be worth $1M and ejaculation is worth about 10 cents"). A woman’s perceived value in facilitating childbirth is perceived as more value than a man’s labor, no matter how much more arduous the latter is. Ultimately, human perception strongly shapes the 'market value' of men and women, and of their sexuality.
