Preface:
After many years of completely not paying attention to other men and women and the state of relationships, two years ago while doing unrelated online work I stumbled onto an online article that dropped my jaw, opened my eyes, and finally filled in the gaps of my thinking between what married men would talk about and what they were not talking about, waaay back before the internet and back when I used to ask them. This article grabbed my attention because it validated my intuition. For years, I simply had had no facts, no actual testimonies, from married men. Maybe they told such things only to their drinking buddies, of which I was not one of them. Maybe they breathed a word to no one. Maybe they thought I was a snitch. They'd only speak of the flowery, positive parts of marriage. Again, for years I was completely indifferent to this stuff. However, I was so taken (er, shocked) by this article, so privy, finally, to a married man's inner thoughts about what he gave up of his soul, that I was completely diverted into checking the internet for more. And that is how I found MGTOW and this forum and have tried to stay in the loop ever since.
